“I’m immunocompromised, and my 17 y/o was called back to work in a cafe. I am terrified of us being exposed by his customers, but he can’t lose this job since he starts college in the fall and his financial aid depends on it. But like most people, I’d rather lose everything than get COVID and die. It is way too early to be opening up. We’re still below 3,000 tests a day in this state! We are not ready.”
“Reopening the city would be incredibly irresponsible !!! especially because we don’t have the proper resources to handle a second-wave !!”
“I do not feel it’s safe for anyone at this time when we’ve seen nothing but a rise in numbers for a week.”
“Keep it closed and mandate masks.”
Reopening the city and county without following indicator guidelines is incredibly short-sighted and an obvious political move. I guarantee I will be voting against Lyda Krewson based on this decision.
